Who you are
- The position requires persistence, strong product curiosity, and the ability to clearly communicate how our solutions help customers improve efficiency, product data accuracy, and market reach
- 1+ year in a sales, telemarketing, or customer service role preferred
- Understanding of industry players, supply chain, and data standards (e.g., ACES/PIES) is highly desirable
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Digital tools: CRM, Microsoft Office Suite
- Data Management: Accurate entry and tracking of customer data
- Methodologies: Familiarity with outbound sales techniques and qualification frameworks (e.g., BANT, MEDDIC) is highly desired
- Automotive Standards: Knowledge of ACES/PIES data formats and their role in product cataloging is an asset
What the job involves
- The Junior Business Development Representative supports the growth of our presence in the global automotive aftermarket by identifying, prospecting, and qualifying potential customers through proactive outreach, primarily cold calling
- This role plays a critical part in developing a healthy sales pipeline by targeting parts distributors, suppliers, repair shops, and other key players in the industry
- Proactively identify and qualify sales opportunities in the automotive aftermarket sector through cold calls and targeted outreach
- Schedule qualified appointments for the senior sales team
- Research companies to understand their role in the aftermarket supply chain and potential fit for our solutions
- Make high-volume outbound calls to prospective clients, including parts distributors, suppliers, and repair networks
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM
- Follow up on inbound leads when assigned
- Achieve or exceed monthly/quarterly KPIs for calls, meetings, and qualified leads
- Track outreach activity and results in CRM
- Provide weekly progress reports to manager

Vehicles are precision instruments, but without standardisation, identifying the exact part you need can be extremely difficult. TecAlliance was founded in 1994 to solve this problem, bringing together parts manufacturers to create a digital catalogue of everything automotive, and has since grown into a leading data analysis and order management platform for the aftermarket automotive industry.
The TecAlliance data hub standardises data for all parts and makes this information readily available for sellers, centralises official repair and maintenance workflows for easy access, and provides automation tools for invoicing and data quality checks. Compared to in-house solutions this represents huge savings in time and labour, and allows for greatly improved customer service. TecAlliance counts numerous major firms among its clients including AutoDoc, Bosch and Shaeffler to name a few.
TecAlliance continues to develop its product with strategic acquisitions, for instance, JNPSoft, a major product information software provider in North America. It is expanding its network of partners and subsidiaries and investing in data research to improve the effectiveness of its product range.
