Our take
FRVR is an instant gaming distribution platform building games channels "beyond the app stores", that hopes to democratize game creation for developers and anyone with an audience. Founded back in 2014 with the creation of "Solitaire FRVR", which the company built as a way to experiment with new forms of game distribution, FRVR has since opened offices in Malta, Seville, Copenhagen and Lisbon, as well as launching two studios in Denmark.
Its approach is based on connecting the right games to the right audiences, creating pathways to their games that find people where they are already spending their time. The company has partnered with both Facebook and Samsung, and has raised good funds in the past which have been invested in securing high-quality games for its platform - for example with the acquisition of free-to-play shooter Krunker.io.
