Role
Who you are
- 3-5+ years in a customer-facing project manager, technical program manager, or management consultant role in the SaaS industry
- You can clearly articulate a typical SaaS implementation methodology and have experience in professional services delivery
- Experience running complex technical projects, specifically including agile sprint planning, user acceptance testing, quality assurance and software release processes
- You are a persuasive, results driven customer influencer with outstanding interpersonal skills
- You’re an exceptional verbal and written communicator
- You have escalation management skills and are comfortable navigating difficult conversations
- You are able to partner effectively with C-Suite, VP, and Director-level contacts, along with day-to-day users of the software
- You are a team player who can work effectively in teams of technical and non-technical individuals. You are skilled at collaborating with diverse teams
- You can learn and drive outcomes with minimal supervision
- You excel at managing complexity, staying highly organized, and keeping track of details without feeling overwhelmed
- You have a bias towards action, and gravitate towards environments where you have outsized influence on the success of outcomes for customers and colleagues
- Fluency in multiple languages and experience conducting business in those languages is preferred
What the job involves
- Join our Professional Services team and play a pivotal role in the successful adoption of Ironclad's leading Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform by our largest and most strategic clients. As an Implementation Manager, you will be the driving force behind complex, high-impact implementations. You'll collaborate closely with Ironclad Legal Engineers to architect and deploy our core product – automated contract workflows – that fundamentally transform how businesses manage contracts and operate across their organizations
- Implementation Managers are customer-centric, master influencers, and technologically fluent. They know how to bring the right people and resources together to ensure successful project delivery. Beyond impacting customers through exceptional project oversight, you are a strategic thinker who is passionate about improving processes and driving initiatives that enable our team's continuous growth and enhance the services we provide to our valued customers
- Manage a portfolio of multiple projects at a time. This includes overseeing project deliverables and proactively identifying risks
- Own the project management and successful execution of client implementations
- Serve as the primary project escalation point of contact
- Ensure alignment across all teams, internal and external
- Build, maintain, and track project timelines in order to deliver on-time, in-scope, and under-budget deployments
- Collaborate with Sales, Legal Engineers, Support, and Customers Success Managers to ensure a smooth and successful customer experience from kick-off to go-live
- Contribute to our scale efforts by improving our project management and delivery operations processes and contributing to our best practices
- Operate independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with minimal oversight
- Contribute to the growth of our partner ecosystem by enabling, supporting, and co-delivering with implementation partners
Our take
Business contracting is often inefficient and messy, with approvals required from various stakeholders and many processes still paper-based. Ironclad is a platform that digitises, automates, and streamlines contract workflows, allowing legal teams to focus on legal work rather than paperwork. Its platform features collaborative tools that facilitate business operations and extract and catalogue contract metadata, making information easier to access and act upon. Its enterprise customers include Dropbox, Mastercard, Pixar, Fox, and L’Oréal.
Despite its success, Ironclad faces competition in the $3 billion contract lifecycle management industry from major players like DocuSign and emerging ones like Contractbook. The company recently announced Ironclad Signature, marking its entry into the $25 billion eSignature market. The new feature speeds up the signature process by an estimated 80% and provides summaries and approval histories to users. This new tool is expected to strengthen Ironclad's position in the sell-side contract lifecycle management market.
Additionally, Ironclad introduced value-based pricing, charging only for completed, signed agreements, unlike other providers who charge for every signature packet sent out. Ironclad, backed by investors like Accel, Sequoia, Y Combinator, and BOND, remains committed to innovating and maintaining its leadership in the contract lifecycle management space.
