Who you are

BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree required (M.S is preferred)
7+ years of working experience (or equivalent academic experience)
4+ working on security detection systems and detection content
Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
Knowledge of Regular Expressions, Programming languages such as Scala, Java or Scripting languages such as Python, Shell
Knowledge of modern adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures
Orientation to details and good task coordination skills
Must be able to commute to the office once to twice a week

What the job involves

We are looking for a Senior Security Content Engineer with good understanding of security fundamentals to join our Content Engineering team
As a Senior Security Content Engineer, you will analyze and interpret security/system/application logs, and define detection rules to identify abnormal behaviors
You will collaborate with subject matter experts across different teams to build best in class detections
Collaborate with a team of security domain experts, data scientists, software engineers and product managers to identify security threats
Build, deliver and support security detection content
Refine and extend the Exabeam Common Information Model and rule base
Provide subject matter expertise to help triage and resolve customer issues
