Who you are

+3 years of experience in PHP including frameworks like Laravel or Symfony
Experience with docker containers
Experience with several persistence mechanisms: relational databases (SQL), Redis, document DB, etc
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitHub or Gitlab)
Code versioning with GIT (we use Gitlab)
Drive all your work in English

DICOM or open-source PACS experience
Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS) and experience with IaC (preferably terraform and terragrunt)
Experience with any asynchronicity, event driven architecture and any event broker system: rabbitMQ, AWS SNS+SQS, AWS event bridge, Kafka

We are seeking a team oriented, highly structured, can-do backend developer to join our team for a long term engagement
Help us move the frontier of user experience in medical systems
In this role, you will acquire unique competences in enabling entrepreneurship in the highly regulated medical and pharma industries
Evolve the code architecture to keep it flexible and extendable to run a global SaaS offering. Deliver the highest possible standard in the final product by:
Engage extensively with your product team and cross-functionally, participating in all phases of software development to ensure successful implementation through to production
Collect the requirements, design, develop, and maintain highly available, supportable solutions
Build structured APIs for internal and external communication
Work as part of a team of developers and DevOps responsible for defining and driving technology standards
Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
Document in-line while coding, we work in a regulated environment and aim to automate everything from testing to documentation and requirements

Our take

The global healthcare crisis of recent years has underscored the importance of international healthcare collaboration. Collective Minds Radiology is an organisation applying this principle to medical imaging. Its service currently connects over 14,000 radiologists and hundreds of hospitals to collaborate on collective diagnosis, healthcare development, and digital education.

The company has seen increasing interest from the Danish market over recent years, and have launched a presence in Denmark. Otherwise, this healthcare collaboration tool flies relatively under the radar - and with good reason. The sharing of medical images required tight adherence to privacy regulations, which are particularly strict in the healthcare sector.

Part of Collective Mind’s interesting exploratory work is in the field of using AI for diagnostics purposes. This is still relatively new territory, and brings with it a justifiable amount of caution.
