Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in Solution Consulting, Pre-Sales, or a related technical role
- Proven experience leading technical discussions in enterprise sales cycles
- Background in e-commerce, SaaS, or integration-heavy environments
- Prior experience managing or mentoring Solution Consultants is a plus
- Strong technical acumen and ability to architect scalable solutions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging C-level stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- A problem-solving mindset with a strong business and customer focus
- Experience working with APIs, cloud solutions, and SaaS integration
What the job involves
- The Pre sales team plays a critical role in bridging the gap between sales, product, and customer success
- Composed of 3 people (including this role), the team operates across multiple locations (Barcelona & Nantes) and partners with major enterprise accounts to drive technical strategy and successful integrations
- Our key challenges involve scaling the team’s impact, refining pre-sales and post-sales technical strategies, and ensuring seamless adoption of our solutions
- This role is strategic in helping enterprise clients successfully integrate our solutions, while also managing and mentoring a small but high-impact team
- As a Sales Engineer, you will have a dual role as both a team manager and an individual contributor
- You will guide and mentor a team of two Sales Engineers while actively engaging in technical pre-sales activities, supporting deal negotiations, and driving successful solution deployments for enterprise customers
- Your expertise will be key in aligning business needs with technical capabilities and ensuring the team delivers maximum impact
- Shape & execute the solution strategy for enterprise clients, ensuring seamless technical integration and long-term adoption
- Bridge the gap between Sales, Tech, and Customer teams, influencing product roadmaps and aligning client needs with our technology vision
- Lead high-stakes RFx engagements, crafting compelling technical responses that drive enterprise deal success
- Inspire and mentor your team, empowering two Solution Consultants to grow and maximize their impact
- Own key enterprise relationships, acting as a trusted technical advisor to drive innovation and business outcomes

Our take
Lengow was built to solve difficulties faced by e-merchants who had to undertake the tedious process of setting up and selling products on a variety of different marketplaces and online channels. Fast forward to today, and this problem is still relevant. With the rise of the digital world and the significant increase of online sellers, e-merchants still have to work through this long process, meaning that Lengow's offerings are still sought after.
Through its centralised platform, Lengow aims to automate as many steps in the process of listing products across different selling sites. The company does this through allowing product imports through a product management system to allow them to be posted on multiple channels instantly. Lengow also offers additional services including stock management, order tracking, and marketing strategies to optimise distributor and brand performance.
Lengow has attempted to keep up with tech developments, such as the launch of a decision-making operator that would release data and algorithms to businesses for advanced data analysis and recommendations. Marlin Equity Partners' acquisition of a majority stake in Lengow will see it invest its vast resources to bolster the development of the company, particularly in international expansion, and Lengow's acquisition of Netrivals in 2022 will allow it to deliver more value to its customers with new price intelligence offerings and a wider European footprint.
