Who you are
- A minimum of 4+ years of experience in an employee experience role within the high-tech industry, with at least 8+ years of overall professional experience
- Service-Oriented Mindset: A strong passion for supporting employees, anticipating their needs, and creating a positive and seamless experience at every touchpoint
- Global Perspective: Experience working with distributed teams across different cultures and time zones
- Project Management: Strong ability to design, execute, and measure people-focused programs

What the job involves
- As the Office and Global Employee Experience Manager, you’ll drive an exceptional employee experience for all Aerospike employees
- Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will own the strategic direction and execution of creating an engaging and inclusive environment where Aerospike employees can thrive
- This role will play a critical part in shaping how employees experience Aerospike! You’ll champion our core values, and ensure all Aerospike employees feel connected and engaged, regardless of where they are located

- This role requires working from the office four days per week, with occasional weeks requiring five days
- Design, develop, and execute an employee experience strategy to deliver impactful initiatives to engage and retain Aerospike employees, ultimately enhancing their employee experience
- Identify and amplify moments that matter throughout the Aerospike employee journey, ensuring employees feel valued and can bring their authentic self to work
- Champion our employee values, finding creative ways to continually embed our core values into employee programs such as: anniversary programs, great place to work initiatives, holidays programming, site/office wide gatherings, etc’
- Manage our Mountain View office and WeWork spaces across the globe, while also building a remote employee community where all employees feel engaged and connected. For the Mountain View office this includes also:
- Ordering supplies, coordinating restocks, being the liaison to building management, and office service providers as well as overseeing office food and snack programs
- Maintain the overall look and feel of the office to ensure a welcoming and productive work environment
- Administer the office and experience team budget in alignment with the Employee Experience strategy
- Oversee and lead cross-functional working groups to drive key initiatives; build relationships with cross-functional partners (Global People Team, IT, Finance,etc) to drive change across the company
- Develop engaging and informative employee communications designed to keep employees excited and informed about Employee Experience programs

Aerospike is a high speed data platform that promises to reduce server footprints by up to 80%. Aimed at satisfying large-scale data platform requirements, clients include PayPal, Verizon Media, European Central Bank, and Snap Inc.
While there are other data platforms available such as DataStax, Redis Labs and Couchbase, Aerospike sets itself apart through offering no trade off between cost and a high level of performance and consistency on a large scale.
As massive petabyte data sets become the norm for large businesses, Aerospike realises the need for systems that can handle this in real-time. Its release of Aerospike Connect brings connectivity of Aerospike Database 5 with a range of big-name open-source frameworks such as Apache Spark, Presto, Pulsar, Kafka and JMS - making Aerospike products more useful to a wider client set. Impressive Series E funding awarded in 2024 is being used to further develop its AI capabilities, specifically around graph and vector functions, capitalising on the current boom in the machine learning sector.
