- 7+ years of quota-carrying B2B Enterprise-level SaaS sales experience
- 2+ year of experience selling into Commercial Real Estate and/or Private Equity
- Experience using Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as ability to present
What the job involves
- Dealpath is looking for a Strategic Account Director to join our growing team in New York City
- As a Strategic Account Director, you will be selling into the C-Suite at the top commercial real estate investment firms including public REITs, private equity firms, banks and insurance companies in the business of acquiring, developing and/or financing commercial property
- You’ll represent our brand and move our mission forward, running a full sales cycle from prospecting through closing. As a founding member of our enterprise sales team, you’ll have a lasting impact on our business and work closely with our CEO and Head of Sales in a high visibility role
- Develop and manage a prioritized list of named accounts
- Leverage existing network and understanding of the CRE industry for segmentation data and intelligence
- Research businesses and map organizations to understand likely needs, entry points and key decision makers
- Utilize effective written and verbal communication skills along with presentation skills to connect with prospective customers
- Manage a consultative sales process that introduces our powerful, cloud-based deal management platform to industry-leading investment management firms
- Effectively communicate with and sell to the C-Suite of prominent real estate investment firms
- Own a sales quota for your region
- Share your passion for raising the bar of productivity and service to our target customers
- Advocate on behalf of our target customers with our product development team
Our take
The PropTech market has had an up-and-down time over the last few years, with investment reaching record levels in 2021 before taking a dip the following year. The prospect of bringing a $217 trillion global industry into the 21st century is as challenging as it is appealing, due to a whole range of factors including unreliable data, as well as a complex and volatile market.
However, Dealpath is simplifying things by focusing solely on commercial real estate with its cloud based deal management platform. Investment and development firms as well as lenders use the platform as a single point of reference for distributed deal information, while also getting access to real time market data.
It’s this up-to-date data – the product of a 2018 partnership with CompStak – which has seen Dealpath’s reputation and customer uptake soar over the last few years. It’s now used by a number of heavyweight real estate investment firms including AEW, Blackstone, and Oxford Properties.
Having already expanded into Canada, Dealpath is gearing up for further international growth after major investment led by Morgan Stanley.
