Who you are

A vibe-coding-first approach is more than welcome if you know what you actually do and how to debug and fix the vibe code
You should know Python, ideally also Node/TS, be familiar with vector search and LLM APIs (no training), and be able to build and deploy a fairly simple multi-tenant Saas product

What the job involves

We are looking for a full-stack Engineer to work on a stealth project for the Qdrant ecosystem
Ideal position for an all-rounder or x-startup CTO with experience building web applications from scratch, fast but stable
This is a temporary position that could become permanent if the project succeeds

Our take

In many cases, documents may have too few keywords, or queries might be too large for the usual full-text search to provide the desired result. In such cases, the search either finds no intersections or returns a lot of irrelevant results. Qdrant is setting out to solve this problem with a neural network-based semantic search which can be used stand-alone or in conjunction with traditional search.

Qdrant utilizes applied AI and metric learning to provide users with an open-source neural search engine. This engine has proven popular with businesses looking to turn their unstructured data into an asset. The possible applications of this technology greatly vary, from product recommendations in e-commerce to image recognition and analysis of anomalies.
