Role
Who you are
- Applicants with electronics testing experience are a strong fit
- Experience running hardware tests for electromechanical systems, using equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, thermocouples, and pressure sensors
- Experience setting up and collecting data using data acquisition systems, especially for electronics testing
- Demonstrated organizational, planning and prioritization skills
- Comfortable with solving problems and working independently when necessary
- Aptitude and desire to work in a dynamic environment in a self-motivated, action-oriented fashion
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics is a strong plus
- Ability to open, read and interpret CAD models and drawings is a plus
- Experience with manufacturing methods including machine shop equipment and 3D printing is a plus
- Ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Hardware Test Technician who can work as a key member of our multidisciplinary engineering team to support tasks ranging from machine builds to data collection to design projects
- You should be comfortable multitasking and generating deliverables with the appropriate level of detail
- Work with product, engineering and R&D teams to create world class refreshment experiences
- Evaluate components and systems for functionality, reliability, and cost through bring-up and validation testing
- Prepare and run experiments for new product development testing
- Build engineering test fixtures to enable and accelerate testing efforts
- Compile test data and results for review by the engineering and other stakeholders
- Create test procedures to help document testing efforts
- Provide feedback to engineering team on machine design and performance-related issues
- Build engineering prototypes and/or rework existing systems for lab and field testing

This alone causes significant damage to the environment, before even considering the carbon impact of delivery or the plastic waste produced. Bevi hopes to change this, with its smart beverage-dispensing machine that only requires a tap water source to function.
Bevi’s dispensers allow users to customize their drinks, check nutrition information and track the environmental impact of their usage. With the ability to carbonate beverages as well as flavor them with natural essences, and even some caffeine and electrolytes if one wishes, Bevi has created a versatile hydration system that caters to the modern consumer on both eco-conscious and personal taste levels.
This simple and effective hydration system has become popular across industries, with over 4000 companies including Volkswagen, Netflix and Google making use of Bevi machines. The company, though having to fight through some self-admittedly "frightening" times, has raised significant funding that will support its rapid growth and expansion into new verticals and products.
