Who you are

Pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Commerce, Finance & accounting, or any related field
Strong Excel proficiency, including pivot tables and advanced spreadsheet functionality
Prior internship experience in a corporate environment (nice to have)
Experience in CPG, banking, or a similar analytical/business setting preferred
Exposure to financial or business analysis through internships or academic projects
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

What the job involves

Term: 4 months (May to August 2026)
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our team for the summer. In this role, you’ll work alongside the Strategic Finance and Accounting & Corporate Reporting teams, supporting financial analysis, reporting, and special projects
You’ll develop a strong understanding of how finance supports business decisions, collaborate with teams across the company, and build practical skills while contributing to a fast-growing, mission-driven pet food company
Assist in the preparation of recurring and ad hoc financial reports including monthly financial forecasts, budget vs actual analysis and variance analysis
Assist with year-end audit related tasks and month end financial close
Support Strategic Finance Managers in the development and preparation of the company's long-term strategic plan through financial modeling
Aid in the creation of financial presentations for leadership, with clear visualizations of key data
Conduct data research and analysis, identify trends and potential areas for improvement across financial performance
Support the business in ad-hoc projects and special assignments as needed
All other duties, as assigned
