Our take
The weight loss industry is huge, and starting a physical transformation can often feel overwhelming when it comes to finding the right starting point. That's where Arise comes in, with the aim to be the app that guides users towards achieving body confidence.
It's essentially a calorie counting app. Users input everything they eat and the app tracks and adds up the calories, making sure they stay within their daily target. It also offers in-app rewards for consistent food logging and includes autofill features for meals previously entered.
The weight loss market is a competitive one and Arise faces its share of challenges. It must navigate shifting attitudes towards calorie counting, but with millions of downloads and availability in 10 languages, it has a solid foundation to grow upon and its likely its global reach will only continue to evolve.
