Software Engineer, Twilio

• 3+ years of experience in your craft with demonstrated skill progression
• Proficiency with Go or similar typed programming languages (Java, C#, C++, Rust, etc)
• Ability to implement reliable, maintainable components
• Automation-minded; experience automating processes and administrative tasks
• A highly effective collaborator, you work with your team and help drive team towards common goals
• Self-driven; take complete ownership of your tasks and champion efforts to get your tasks to completion
• Degree in Computer Science or similar experience work experience

• This position is needed to fulfill the critical role of a Software Engineer within Twilio Sendgrid, to be both hands-on in creating, deploying and managing highly available, very large scale distributed systems
• Our systems processed 12 billion emails on Black Friday 2026 and we continue to scale! You will be a key contributor in one or more of these areas - Redesigning backend services to improve scalability, strengthening service security to keep up with changing threats
• Delivering solutions that enhance the customer journey and developing new product offerings that provide actionable insights into the health of customers’ email programs
