Who you are
- We are seeing an organized, collaborative Community Manager with a passion for building community at work, and creating positive and inclusive spaces for Staffbase employees across North America
- Previous working experience in office management, facilities management, office administration or community management
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Tech savvy, with strong understanding of Google products
What the job involves
- Staffbase is seeking a Community Manager for our North American HQ in New York City
- This role requires in-person attendance in our midtown workspace, as well as frequent travel to our Minneapolis and Canadian locations
- Create a Sense of Belonging: Work with NA leadership to cultivate inclusivity and community across various working categories (office, hybrid, remote)
- Event Planning: Organize and execute events, rituals, and initiatives that promote community building and align with our company values
- Office Administration and Management: Manage day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure efficient office operations, including supply inventory, vendor liaison, and addressing employee queries
- Global Collaboration: Collaborate with community management colleagues from other locations to align processes and procedures globally
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance community management processes and implement new systems
- Team Engagement: Coordinate team-building activities to nurture our teams and maintain a positive work culture
- Facilities and Equipment Management: Correspond with property maintenance personnel and manage office space openings and closings
- Assist with IT equipment needs to ensure our team has the tools required to excel in their roles
