- We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Accounting Manager to support our finance team
- This role is perfect for someone with initial experience in accounting who is eager to learn and grow within a dynamic company
- Bachelor's in finance or completed Ausbilung zum Buchhalter
- Familiar with managing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes
- Foundational understanding of German accounting standards
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with teams and external stakeholders
- Open to new challenges and eager to develop accounting skills further
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and ensure smooth financial operations
- Fluency in both English and German
What the job involves
- This role focuses on managing Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), while ensuring compliance with German GAAP
- As the Junior Accounting Manager, you will help streamline daily accounting tasks, collaborate with other departments to resolve financial queries, and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment
- Accounts Receivable (AR): Handle invoicing, monitor payment collections, and resolve billing discrepancies in collaboration with the Sales team
- Accounts Payable (AP): Manage incoming invoices through Candis, process payments, and liaise with vendors to ensure timely payments
- Maintain financial records and ensure that accounting practices align with German GAAP standards
- Support the smooth functioning of day-to-day finance operations, including responding to customer and internal requests
- Take over management of Candis (AP) and Circula (expense management) to optimize the handling of incoming invoices and expenses
- Utilize Excel, Candis, Circula, and Datev Unternehmen Online for various accounting tasks such as reporting, invoicing, and payments
