Accountant, Impulse Space

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of of accounting or bookkeeping experience
• 1+ years of demonstrated understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Standards (GAAP)
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software
• (e.g., QuickBooks, Infor Syteline, Coupa, or similar)

Desirable

• As an Accountant at Impulse, you will create processes and procedures to prepare and maintain the accounting and financial records in accordance with US GAAP
• This role will report directly to the Senior Accounting Manager
• The role will require familiarity with internal controls and processes over all accounting areas
• Prepare, review, and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and close processes
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
• Lead and support internal and external audits, including preparation of audit documentation
• Manage and improve accounting processes, controls, and systems
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Analyze financial results and explain variances to management
• Coordinate tax preparation and filings with internal teams or external advisors
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains
• Support special accounting projects and system implementations as needed
