Role
Who you are
- Proven track record of managing and scaling an SDR/BDR team in a high-growth environment
- You think in terms of systems and data, not just activity while using metrics to drive every decision
- Strong understanding of prospecting, sequencing, messaging and having built playbooks from scratch
- You are proficient with Clay (or equivalent enrichment tools) and have hands-on experience implementing AI-driven workflows
- You have led sales development teams selling into Security, DevOps, or IT sectors

What the job involves
- We’re looking for our first Head of Sales Development to transform our outbound function into a scalable, high-velocity engine designed for rapid expansion
- Historically, our SDR management has been embedded within broader sales leadership. As we enter a significant growth phase, we are carving out this dedicated leadership role to support a major expansion of our go-to-market team
- This isn’t just a "people management" role—this is a systems-design role
- You will be the architect of our outbound strategy, moving us away from manual workflows toward an automation-first approach that prioritizes high-intent signals and AI augmentation
- Lead the hiring and onboarding of a new cohort of SDRs to support our aggressive AE growth targets
- Define what "good" looks like across cold calling, email, and LinkedIn, and build the playbooks to help your team get there
- Foster a "builder" mentality within the SDR team, encouraging experimentation and professional growth
- Deep dive into current processes to identify bottlenecks and manual friction points
- Build and manage sophisticated data enrichment workflows in Clay (or similar tools) to drive signal-based outbound efforts
- Use metrics to diagnose performance, track pipeline contribution, and tie SDR activity directly to revenue outcomes
- Work closely with RevOps to ensure our tech stack is integrated and our data models are actionable
Our take
Data breaches can be detrimental to companies, particularly when they regard the leaking of sensitive data such as private keys and login credentials. However, such breaches are common and can be difficult to identify due to the vast range of platforms and SaaS that modern businesses use, often resulting in leaks only being identified when it's too late to prevent.
Truffle Security provides a software tool named TruffleHog that identifies and remediates sensitive information that has leaked within a business's digital infrastructure, running scans automatically to catch vulnerable data before it leaks. The software integrates within major SaaS platforms such as Slack, AWS, Gmail, and Github, also offering bespoke integration services for unique business infrastructures.
Whilst many cybersecurity platforms can identify the source of data leaks early to minimize their impact, Truffle Security has recognized that this is often too little too late. By constantly scanning business environments behind the scenes and raising $25 million in 2025, the company shows great potential to disrupt the data protection market by completely preventing data leaks and thus removing the need for recovery specialists.
