3–5+ years of experience in marketing project management, content management, or a hybrid strategic role

What the job involves

6 months contract with potential extension
We are seeking a highly structured, disciplined, and execution-focused Project Manager with strong Content Management capabilities to support and coordinate the marketing function
This role is responsible for maintaining full oversight of the marketing calendar, campaign planning, asset production timelines, and cross-department coordination. In parallel, the role requires hands-on content ownership, including writing, editing, publishing, and reporting
The ideal candidate combines operational rigour with editorial precision and has a strong understanding of how trading platforms and digital products function, enabling accurate and strategically aligned communication
Own and manage the end-to-end marketing calendar, ensuring strategic alignment and execution discipline
Plan and coordinate multi-channel campaigns across product launches, platform updates, educational initiatives, and promotional activities for the Bitfinex and Bitfinex Securities platforms
Define timelines, deliverables, and dependencies across marketing, product, compliance, design, and technology teams
Ensure all campaign assets are scoped, briefed, produced, reviewed, and delivered within agreed deadlines
Monitor execution risks and proactively remove bottlenecks
Maintain structured workflows and documentation standards
Prepare post-campaign performance reports and executive summaries
Act as a coordination point between internal (Marketing and Product, Tokens, Compliance, Legal, and Operations) and external teams
Ensure marketing messaging accurately reflects platform functionality, trading mechanics, and regulatory positioning
Produce high-quality written content, including blog posts, platform announcements, educational materials, newsletters, and website copy for the Bitfinex and Bitfinex Securities platforms
Ensure all content is accurate, compliant, strategically positioned, and aligned with brand standards
Edit and proofread with exceptional attention to detail
Manage content publishing across CMS and distribution channels
Maintain structured content planning aligned with product and market priorities
Optimise content for clarity, SEO relevance, and professional investor audiences where applicable

Our take

Since its 2012 founding, Bitfinex has consistently been one of the world’s largest crypto exchanges, supporting over 150 currencies and offering multiple trading options. Its popularity is largely down to how user friendly it is for all levels of trader, from beginner to pro.

For all its popularity, it’s impossible to ignore the controversies the company has faced, along with its sister currency Tether. This includes hacking a highly publicised settlement over an alleged $850 million loss cover-up, and its involvement in a shadow banking operation, which landed the perpetrator 6 years in prison.

It’s also worth noting however, that bad press has dogged a lot of major players in the crypto world. Bitfinex’s supporters don’t seem to have been swayed by the headlines, and the company continues to move on. In 2022, it gained access to the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA), and the company is hoping to gain regulatory approval and licensing around the world.
