Role
Who you are
- DuploCloud is looking for a Solutions Architect with a demonstrated background in cloud technologies, and driving customer success through solution architecture
- 10+ years of demonstrated ability to work as a solutions and/or cloud architect
- Experience working with both customers and internal teams in a pre-sales, consulting, or delivery capacity
- Dynamic team member who will both teach and learn from all of us on the Solutions Engineering team
- Problem solver who can interpret sophisticated problem statements, boil them down into simple solutions, and collaborate with prospects, channel partners
- Comfortable in both a business and technical context, working with executives or talking shop with technical audiences
- Open to giving and receiving feedback, tolerate failure and are passionate about making clients successful
- Experienced with one or all of the public cloud platforms (AWS. Azure, GCP). AWS experience preferred
- Hands on experience with Kubernetes, ECS and similar container orchestration technologies
- Hands on experience with Terraform and similar IaC technologies
- Experienced with CI/CD systems and DevOps engineering
- Enjoy helping customers with their infrastructure transformation via solutions engineering through a 2-3 month DuploCloud onboarding process
- Knowledge of AI/ML use cases
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
What the job involves
- The role involves working closely with the Sales organization and engaging in the pre-sales process to enable successful deal conversion
- Further, engaging directly with customers to build POCs demonstrates the value of the product
- Performing detailed infrastructure assessments of customers' existing environments, producing cost calculators, business RIO plans, and migration project plans
- This role would also involve working closely with the DevOps team for successful hand off for project implementation

In short, it was founded to address the lack of diversity in built-for-purpose tools for the cloud infrastructure provision space.

Working with both startups and hypergrowth companies, the aim is to help companies manage their cloud services without having to build their own automation tools or rely on impersonal cloud giants like Microsoft and AWS.
Its target market then are companies that want scalable cloud provision tools that would otherwise cost millions to build and maintain. The company is clearly on to something, as it boasts an annual recurring revenue that grew 700% between 2021 and 2023. It has also successfully raised $32 million in Series B funding, which exemplifies the demand for its market gap-bridging product.
