- Deep expertise across major paid acquisition channels (Meta, Google, Tiktok, and similar), including hands-on knowledge of platform optimizations, bidding strategies, and measurement
- Strong analytical fluency - comfortable working with attribution models, marketing mix modeling, and incrementality testing, and able to translate complex data into clear recommendations for the business

- Proven people leadership experience, having developed and managed high-performing teams
- A track record of partnering effectively with creative, influencer, brand, product, and finance teams to align performance marketing strategy with broader company goals

What the job involves
- Lovevery is looking for a Sr.Director of Performance Marketing to lead our paid acquisition strategy across North America, Europe, and APAC
- This is a high-impact role: you'll own a multi-million dollar global ad investment and be directly accountable for the growth it drives, from immediate performance to long-term business outcomes
- You'll lead a team responsible for the full scope of performance marketing — day-to-day advertising operations as well as the strategic tests that shape where we invest next
- That means setting the agenda for platform optimization, ad creative, and channel strategy across a complex, multi-market portfolio, while building the analytics and reporting rigor to know what's actually working and why
- The right person for this role thinks like an owner
- You're as comfortable in the data — tracking performance, spotting trends, stress-testing what's scalable — as you are thinking about the Lovevery customer: who they are, what motivates them, and how that should shape creative and channel strategy
- You'll blend that analytical instinct with genuine customer empathy to turn a significant media budget into sustainable, efficient growth
- Own performance marketing across North America, Europe, and APAC, setting budget allocation and pacing to hit both short term and long term growth, CAC and payback goals
- Lead day to day media operations across core channels, ensuring campaigns are optimized, budgets are deployed efficiently and performance issues are caught and corrected quickly (within hours)
- Partner closely with creative to ideate, develop, and iterate on ad creative, using performance data and staying close to social trends to inform what messaging, formats, and hooks will resonate with Lovevery’s audience
- Build and maintain the analytics structure needed to track performance accurately - from campaign-level metrics to broader marketing mix and incrementality, from monthly metrics down to intra-day for quick troubleshooting
- Set the testing roadmap for performance marketing, identifying tests that have the potential to meaningfully move the growth needle
- Manage and develop a team of performance marketers, setting goals, providing coaching and feedback, and building a structure and process that supports the needs of the business
- Serve as the internal expert on paid channel dynamics, platform changes and industry trends, translating what’s happening in the broader market to opportunities for Lovevery
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other marketing verticals (influencer, social, product marketing, lifecycle, etc) as needed to ensure brand consistency and create the best quality and most compelling ad content
- Be willing to jump in, explore, test and measure any new paid advertising opportunities that look compelling for Lovevery. Be as comfortable leading and coaching as you are also getting hands-on in accounts as needed
- Champion a deep understanding of the Lovevery customer within the team, ensuring targeting, messaging, and channel strategy stay grounded in what motivates parents to engage with the brand
Our take
A child’s first toys will serve their first foray into learning. Lovevery recognizes this relationship between toys and child development, offering Montessori-inspired, naturally made play kits. Subscribers to Lovevery receive a box every few months containing age-appropriate toys that change and grow in tandem with their child/children.
Not only are the products aesthetically pleasing and well-built, they are also uniquely inclusive. Lovevery products are gender neutral and customizable - for example, parents can choose a doll’s skin tone. Each kit also comes with “play cards” that provide context around the toy and its educational purpose, creating an informative and empowering space for parents when approaching play.
Starting as just a play kit provider, the company's accompanying app now has hundreds of thousands of subscribers, showing that Lovevery is happy to evolve. Partnerships with the likes of Target, plus an expansion into the European market, indicate impressive growth. And with new launches including a resale marketplace, the company is well set for even more growth.
