Who you are

3+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, ideally at a high-growth startup or fast-paced tech company
Proven track record sourcing and closing engineering talent across multiple levels and technical disciplines (frontend, backend, infrastructure, data, etc.)
Required: Hands-on experience with Greenhouse (ATS), Modernloop, Gem, and LinkedIn Recruiter
Strong Boolean search skills and creative sourcing techniques to identify passive candidates who aren't actively looking
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills—you can sell a company vision, navigate complex offer negotiations, and create an exceptional candidate experience
Data-driven mindset with the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously while maintaining high quality bars and attention to detail

We're a strategic, high-impact team that partners directly with leadership to build world-class GTM and R&D organizations. Our team own end-to-end hiring across all levels and are trusted advisors who shape how we attract and close top talent in a competitive market
Recruiting isn't just about filling roles—it's about building the team that will define the future of compensation management. You'll have the tools you need to succeed, the autonomy to innovate on process, and direct exposure to high impact company-building decisions
Own full-cycle recruiting for R&D roles across Engineering, Product, Design, and Data—from crafting Boolean search strings and sourcing passive candidates to closing senior hires
Partner directly with hiring managers and leadership to define role requirements, build talent pipelines, and drive strategic workforce planning as we scale our technical teams
Build and execute innovative sourcing strategies using Gem, LinkedIn Recruiter, and creative outreach to engage top technical talent in a highly competitive market
Manage candidate experience end-to-end, including interview coordination, offer strategy, compensation discussions, and communicating Pave's total rewards package to close candidates
Leverage data and recruiting metrics in Greenhouse & Gem to optimize pipeline health, time-to-fill, and hiring quality—and continuously improve our recruiting process
Collaborate cross-functionally with the broader G&A team to share strategic projects that will help scale our hiring infrastructure

Our take

Compensation survey and merit cycle processes are integral to so many businesses, and yet remain time-consuming manual activities. Staff often lack financial training resulting in spreadsheet induced errors. Pave saw a need to update and streamline the process.

The core advantage of Pave is its ease of integration with HRIS, ATS and cap table software, creating real-time compensation data views without the need for spreadsheets. Using the software creates a fair and transparent system that management can rely on and employees can respect. The company has seen strong momentum, with backing from big names like Y Combinator and az16.

Some organisations have been reluctant to adopt solutions like Pave’s on account of the radical transparency it provides. However, with companies like Credit Karma, Miro and Discord all signing on, Pave has proven its ability to draw lucrative enterprise-level clients. It also became a Unicorn in 2022 after an impressive Series C funding round, boding well for its longevity.
