Who you are

Prior experience owning and growing an online community - D2C or B2B
Experience in similar roles within startup environments (workplace wellbeing and mental health a bonus)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skill

What the job involves

Community Management: Oversee and manage our community platform, ensuring a vibrant, active, and engaged online community. Develop and implement strategies to drive member engagement and retention. Manage our relationships with the platform provider, ensuring we implement the latest features and functionality
Event Coordination: Organise and execute online talks, forums, webinars, and events that resonate with our community members. Create and curate content that resonates with our audience and promotes meaningful discussions. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to plan and deliver high-quality content and experiences
Member Experience: Lead initiatives to improve the member experience. Monitor community feedback and work closely with our team to enhance the member experience and address concerns
Social Collaboration: Collaborate with the wider brand and comms team to grow our social media presence, fostering meaningful conversations and connections among community members. Monitor social channels and respond to community interactions in a timely and supportive manner
Bridge Between Departments: Serve as a link between marketing, Psyched, and our members, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. Support marketing campaigns and initiatives by leveraging community insights and feedback
Advocacy and Growth: Promote positive cultural change around mental health through community engagement and advocacy. Identify opportunities to expand our reach and impact within the mental health ecosystem

Self Space also offers corporate benefit packages for companies and in 2024, has opened bookings for its Ibiza Nobu Hotel partnered retreat and workshops package. The latter indicates the company's international ambitions.

Self Space has seen impressive growth since its founding in 2019. With four locations in London and Manchester and 60,700 sessions booked since launch, it is utilising 2024 funding to expand its session remit to an extra 34,000 annually. It is also opening two more locations to meet the growing demand for its strikingly branded, approachable services.
