Role
Who you are
- 2-5 years experience in UX/UI design, ideally with a focus on platforms and apps
- A strong sense of functional, user-friendly, and visually appealing design
- Proficiency with tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
- A user-centered mindset with the ability to simplify complex problems into intuitive solutions
- A data-driven approach to continuously improve the user experience
- You are fluent in English and German is a plus
What the job involves
- As a UX/UI Designer at Marta, you will play a key role in shaping the visual and functional user interface of our digital platform, which connects families with 24-hour caregivers
- Your designs will ensure that both caregivers and families experience a seamless, user-friendly, and intuitive interaction with our platform
- By collaborating closely with our product team, you'll help revolutionize the caregiving industry through fair, transparent, and innovative software solutions
- App and Web Design: You will design and optimize the user interface for both our mobile app and website, ensuring a smooth and efficient user experience for families and caregivers alike
- User-Centered UX: You will create a customer-focused user experience that meets the needs of both caregivers and families, making the caregiving process easier and more accessible for everyone
- Prototyping and Testing: You will develop prototypes for new features, conduct user testing, and implement improvements based on feedback
- Data-Driven Design: Using KPIs such as the Net Promoter Score (NPS) and Conversion Rate, you will measure the effectiveness of your designs and make continuous improvements
- Collaboration: You will work closely with developers, product managers, and our international teams to ensure that designs are implemented seamlessly into our platform
Our take
Berlin-based Marta is a live-in care platform that connects families with caregivers. The company became active in over four countries soon after its founding and now boasts over 13,000 families using its services.
Its founders conceived the concept following their experience in finding 24 hour care for their grandparents. The market was complicated and overpriced, and the available agencies took most of the caregiver's salary. Marta exists to change this.
Following seed funding led by Capnamic, the company has invested capital into expanding its core teams in Germany, Poland, Romania and Lithuania whilst scaling up business processes. The hole in the market it is filling coupled with its already impressive growth puts Marta on an exciting trajectory moving forwards.
