Mechanical Engineering Intern, Halo Agencies

• We are seeking a passionate engineer to join our team for a 3-6 month Internship
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Mechatronics, or a related field
• Strong fundamentals in mechanical engineering principles (mechanisms, materials, tolerance analysis, stress/strain basics)
• Proficiency or coursework in 3D CAD modeling (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, NX) and understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
• Experience with hands-on prototyping, testing, and basic data analysis

• In this role you will contribute to the design, development, prototyping, and validation of industrial equipment that deploy cutting-edge laser technology in high-precision manufacturing environments

• Providing support to design, prototyping, documentation and validation activities for Production and R&D Assemblies
• Conceive, design, and bring into production tooling, fixturing and sensing technology
• Work closely and collaboratively with many different multi-functional teams
• Assist with documenting 3D CAD and 2D drawings using GD&T and tolerance analysis
• Assist in developing test plans and executing experiments to validate mechanical designs
• Learn and apply engineering best practices in a fast-paced product development environment
