Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or similar field, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience managing teams relating to websites, seo/paid search, and organic/paid social media
- Significant experience with all aspects of the inbound marketing function and processes
- Experience partnering with executive leaders in Sales, RevOps, Product, etc
- Experience with B2B marketing in the technology industry (IT Security and SaaS marketing a plus)
- Experience handling marketing budgets and forecasting/reporting results
- Experience with Salesforce and Google Analytics
- Significant management experience overseeing teams of 2 or more
- Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions
- Expert in end-to-end marketing for inbound marketing functions
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to extract meaning from data and apply that meaning to improving program performance
- Significant experience managing and negotiating with demand generation vendors and platform providers
What the job involves
- The Director of Inbound Marketing will be responsible for identifying and executing opportunities to build the KnowBe4 brand and acquire new customers through websites, SEO, paid search, paid/organic social and other inbound strategies
- This position is in charge of inbound marketing demand generation, including managing the strategy, execution, and optimization across channels
- Manage inbound marketing team members and processes in order to achieve company goals for brand awareness, demand generation and opportunity creation
- Execute strategy for inbound marketing channels including, but not limited to website/blog strategy, SEO, paid search, paid and organic social
- Oversee expansion of websites including knowbe4.com, localized international websites and other websites as needed including traffic/conversion analysis, personalization, online chat, heat mapping, etc
- Measure and optimize inbound marketing programs using vendor-specific reports, internal dashboards/reports, and CRM data
- Identify, evaluate and test new marketing programs with existing and new vendors to improve lead quality and conversion
- Collaborate with marketing team members to maintain a consistent brand voice and message across all programs
- Review and approve promotional content such as advertisements, blogs, infographics, etc
- Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and potential new channels and strategies to keep us ahead
- Identify, evaluate and manage marketing agencies, vendors, and platforms
- Provide genuine recommendations as to the hiring, firing, promotion, and discipline of subordinate employees to which the Company gives significant weight

KnowBe4 delivers a cloud-based security awareness training program, alongside simulated phishing attacks, to allow companies to make sure their people are as robust against cybercrime as their technology.
A subscription to KnowBe4 enables staff to access automated security training campaigns generated from a large library of content, with reminder emails to ensure they are on track. Its PhishER product, a Security Orchestration, Automation and Response platform, offers automatic prioritization for emails which allows security teams to respond to the biggest threats quicker.
KnowBe4 is the world’s largest integrated platform for security awareness training, serving over 50,000 customers. The company has also launched a Mobile Learner App, which provides access to training modules and notifications about assigned training, to supplement the training platform and deliver heightened services to its clients.
