Role
Who you are
- We’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about the success of our team and our customers
- Bachelor’s Degree required in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience
- Proficiency in lease accounting systems (e.g. Costar/Lease Accelerator)
- Solid understanding of lease accounting standards and lease administration
- Experience working on complex lease and amendment terms with timely communication to internal stakeholders

- We’re on the lookout for a driven and detail-oriented Corporate Lease Accountant to join us in producing solutions as we bring next-generation connectivity to our customers across the country
- Based in either our Irvine office or NYC office, you’ll have the opportunity to assist in maintaining lease schedules and preparing accounting schedules according to lease & amendment terms
- As part of the accounting team, you’ll play a vital role in assisting the monthly close process, developing lease accounting for all leases and assessing every new contract with our technical accounting team
- At all levels, colleagues will rely on your detailed view and lease accounting knowledge to make sure that ledger is accurate
- Preparing and maintaining lease accounting schedules based on individual lease contracts & amendment terms
- Ensuring lease schedules are up to date through partnering with the Asset Management and Legal teams and review of documentation
- Assisting with the monthly close process with the preparation and analysis of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial information
- Understanding the asset and liability position of every new lease with a detailed reconciliation to the general ledger
- Coordination with our AP team to ensure vendors properly go through our vendor approval process and update our lease software
- Increasing technical knowledge of lease accounting standards through close partnership with the technical accounting team

The company has made a lot of progress over just a single year, including acquisitions of education connectivity providers Apogee, ZenFi Networks, Edzcom, and more. It is now focused on further advancing its interconnectivity services which already span Europe, the US and Hong Kong.
