Who you are

- 4–6 years of accounting experience, with a mix of public accounting and industry preferred
- CPA license or active CPA candidate strongly preferred
- Strong foundation in U.S. GAAP and a demonstrated interest in technical accounting topics
- Experience operating in a high-growth startup or technology company environment
- Proven ability to take ownership and manage work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Demonstrated ability to identify problems, think critically, and implement practical solutions
- High attention to detail while maintaining an understanding of the broader business context
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight timelines
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Experience with NetSuite
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
What the job involves
- ClickHouse's Finance team is growing fast, and we're looking for a Senior Accountant who's ready to do meaningful work from day one
- You’ll be hands-on in the close, dive into complex accounting areas, and contribute directly to building scalable processes that support our path to IPO
- Own and execute key components of the monthly close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting work papers, with a high bar for accuracy and completeness
- Support preparation of US GAAP financial statements and audit-ready documentation
- Identify gaps in existing processes and proactively design improvements to increase efficiency, scalability, and control
- Drive automation and systems improvements to reduce manual processes and improve data integrity
- Coordinate external audit requests and be a reliable point of contact for auditor inquiries
- Contribute to system implementations and IPO readiness work streams
- Continuously improve close processes to increase speed, predictability, and accuracy as the company scales
