Who you are
- Prior experience leading a Helpdesk Team
- The ability to mentor and teach junior team members
- Prior experience with handoffs and shift change
- Prior record of success creating Helpdesk related reports
- Prior record of success as a Tier3 escalation point
- Prior experience with EDR/XDR platforms - Examples: (Crowdstrike preferred)
- Prior experience with Cloud Identity Mgmt platforms and SSO, SAML 2.0, and MFA
- Prior experience with MDM automation. - Examples: (GoogleMDM, Kandji, or JAMF)
- Prior experience working as an engineer at an MSP (project work)
- Prior experience working in a NOC/SOC preferred
- Prior experience working in large enterprises with a large end-user pool
- Ability to support Macs, Linux, and windows using command line
- Proven excellence with managing assets and inventory
- Experience with mobile device management (MDM) solutions, ticketing systems, and IT
- Documentation platforms
- Manage, implement, and maintain SAAS platforms
- Experience with deployments and a master of troubleshooting
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Self-starter yet knows when to ask for help and works excellent in a team
- Must be able to pass a background check

What the job involves
- Crusoe Service Desk is responsible for troubleshooting, configuring both local apps and SAAS platforms
- Will be working daily with: networking, SaaS applications, file shares, and other Enterprise IT issues & requests
- IT also works on projects with different teams and departments, alongside vendors to deliver a seamless user experience for staff
- Customer service, team player, and self-motivation are big here at Crusoe
- Start to finish - User support Including but not limited to:
- Onboarding / Offboarding
- Support Desk Projects
- JIRA Ticketing, ticket updates, and admin overhead
- Documentation guru
- Identify, log, and resolve technical problems with applications and systems
- Learn and Adopt new IT support and management platforms
- Assist IT Leadership in establishing processes
- Other travel may also be required up to 20%
- Onsite support 5 days a week
- Ensure systems are compliant with security policies
- Timely communications and acknowledgments
- Always keep IT assets and accessories within the office neat and tidy
Our take
Crusoe is tackling one of the biggest challenges facing the digital age: the enormous energy demand of data centres and AI infrastructure. As AI models grow more powerful, they require immense computing power (and therefor electricity) to train and operate. This surge in energy use has put some pressure on power grids, driven up costs, and raised environmental concerns. Crusoe is on a mission to make this process more sustainable by finding smarter, cleaner, and more efficient ways to power the data centres that drive modern computing.
The company started out by putting wasted energy to work. Originally known as Crusoe Energy, it captured natural gas that would otherwise be burned off ("flared") at remote oil sites and used it to power modular data centres. Today, Crusoe has evolved into a major player in AI infrastructure, designing and operating large-scale data centres near renewable or stranded energy sources. It's now one of a handful of "neocloud" companies (next-generation cloud providers focused on flexible, efficient computing for AI workloads). And its facilities are helping tech giants like OpenAI handle the massive computing requirements of training advanced AI models.
Recently, Crusoe has attracted some huge investor attention, tripling its valuation to over $10B and raising $1.4B in its latest funding round. It's building OpenAI's first major US data centre campus and even experimenting with bold new frontiers. In partnership with Starcloud, Crusoe plans to deploy the world's first space-based cloud computing infrastructure, powered by solar energy and orbiting the Earth by 2027. If successful, this could redefine how and where computing happens, opening up a cleaner, virtually limitless source of energy for AI's next generation.
