Role
Who you are
- We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts & Administration Assistant to join our growing team
- This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills, a keen eye for accuracy, and a desire to develop within a dynamic business environment
- Previous experience in a finance or administrative role (experience with Xero, Dext, and Rippling is highly desirable)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with great attention to detail
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Confident in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A self-starter who is proactive, reliable, and adaptable
- A positive, professional attitude with a strong sense of accountability
- 3–5 Years of Experience in a finance role, ideally within a retail or e-commerce brand
- AAT qualified or qualified by experience in a relevant finance role
- Experience in working independently, demonstrating awareness of monthly deadlines
- Experience in Xero, Dext and Rippling systems is preferred but not essential
- Experience with carrying our HR administration tasks is beneficial but not a deal breaker
- Excellent Communication Skills: Comfortable working cross-functionally with different teams
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrated commitment to excellence in following processes, down to the smallest detail
What the job involves
- As we enter into an exciting stage of growth for the company, we are looking for a talented and passionate Accounts and Administration Assistant to join our Finance team
- Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in supporting our finance and HR functions
- Supporting daily finance operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
- Using Xero for bookkeeping, invoicing, and financial reporting
- Processing expense claims and receipts via Dext
- Assisting with payroll and HR administration through Rippling
- Maintaining accurate records, databases, and filing systems
- Assisting the Head of Finance with month-end and year-end processes
- Handling administrative tasks such as correspondence, scheduling, and documentation
- Assisting the Head of Finance with finance duties on group companies in the USA and Spain
- Supporting ad-hoc finance and admin projects as required
