Role
Who you are
- A technical background, with 2+ years of experience in software engineering and 2+ years in product management roles
- Experience with billing and pricing systems including trial programs and product packaging
- Familiarity with enterprise identity models, such as role-based access control, SCIM, and user provisioning
- Proven ability to design customer-centric solutions, especially in onboarding flows, fraud prevention, and organizational embedding of SaaS platforms
- Strong customer-facing experience in a B2B SaaS/PaaS environment, with a focus on addressing enterprise needs
- Exceptional skills in prioritization and execution, particularly in high-impact projects with tight deadlines
What the job involves
- As a Product Manager for AI Platform, you will lead the development and enhancement of Anyscale’s AI Platform, which simplifies and centralizes infrastructure management at scale.
- You’ll drive mission-critical initiatives, from marketplaces and granular identity models to fraud prevention and seamless onboarding experiences.
- Working across diverse teams and engaging with enterprise customers, you'll shape the foundation of a modern AI platform designed to scale effortlessly within complex organizational structures
- Lead strategic initiatives to enhance the Anyscale Platform, focusing on billing, identity, permissions, onboarding, and fraud detection
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop scalable, robust infrastructure components such as billing pipelines, marketplace integrations, and advanced user management systems
- Engage with customers and stakeholders to understand pain points and translate them into innovative, value-driven solutions that simplify AI platform operations
- Define and prioritize roadmaps for critical projects, including platform isolation, role-based access control, SCIM provisioning, and onboarding and trial flows
- Optimize the customer journey, ensuring seamless onboarding experiences and implementing fraud detection measures to enable growth-oriented strategies
- Contribute to the evolution of the Anyscale object model, aligning resource hierarchies and identity frameworks to enterprise needs
Our take
AnyScale is a platform facilitating the development of distributed applications with high computing demands on its Ray platform. It answers an increasing requirement for higher-level tech strategies among companies which are incorporating AI and machine learning into their products, and a similarly broad and growing demand for easier access to cloud programming.
AnyScale launched its first commercial offering in 2021, and intends to continue developing products that will lower the skill and resource threshold for cloud programming. In 2023 it released Aviary, a project to simplify open-source large language model (LLM) deployment. What is promising, and lucrative, about its proposition is that it offers a general-use distributed system, this sidesteps the cumbersome process of stitching together disparate distributed systems, previously a requirement for novel applications. It is currently finding use in a range of applications such as supply chain, environmental restoration and retail by organisations including Amazon and Uber.
Anyscape has raised considerable funding led by Andreessen Horowitz and Addition. This is being used to scale its team and further develop the Ray platform. As the demand for AI apps rapidly increases, Anyscape is poised to disrupt a $13 trillion market.
