Role
Who you are
- 7 or more years of experience in product marketing, solution engineering, technical sales, or a related enterprise SaaS role
- Hands-on experience designing or delivering demos for sophisticated platforms, enterprise applications, or AI/ML technologies
- Strong storytelling, communication, and presentation skills
- Proven experience crafting demo scripts, visuals, and supporting content
- Strong technical proficiency with the ability to quickly grasp new product capabilities and explain them clearly
- Ability to connect technical functionality with customer value and business impact
- Familiarity with enterprise software such as HCM, ERP, or related solutions is a plus
- Strong project management and prioritization skills
- Experience working with platforms such as Workday, Salesforce, or Tableau is helpful
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment that involves cross-functional collaboration and change

- We’re looking for a Principal Product Marketing Manager to join the Experiential Product Marketing (XPM) team
- This team crafts some of Workday’s most strategic and immersive demo experiences, helping showcase our platform at executive keynotes, customer events, analyst briefings, and more
- In this role, you will be responsible for crafting and delivering high-impact demos that bring our product vision to life, with a particular focus on Workday’s growing AI and agentic capabilities
- You’ll work closely with cross-functional partners to turn complex technical concepts into engaging stories tailored for our most important audiences
- Design and deliver compelling demo experiences across Workday’s core product areas, including People, Money, and Platform. This includes support for events like Workday Rising, DevCon, SKO, and key customer engagements
- Translate product innovation into clear and engaging stories that highlight customer value, with a strong focus on AI and automation
- Build high-quality demo assets including flows, scripts, visuals, videos, and reusable kits for field and partner use
- Collaborate with teams across Product, Engineering, Studios, Enablement, and Marketing to ensure technical accuracy and message alignment
- Refine demo content based on feedback, adoption trends, and evolving product capabilities
- Help establish and improve demo standards, systems, and documentation to scale efforts across the company

The company uses a single database for workforce management and financial management to offer integration and optimize business intelligence across companies. It has added to the packages and tools it offers over the years, providing analytic options that allow companies to combine third-party data with information collected by Workday.
Workday has acquired and paired up with many other companies to keep expanding its offering. In 2021, it purchased the employee feedback platform Peakon in response to the growing need for managers to be able to survey workers and collect satisfaction data without face-to-face meetings. The company has also bought and developed many financial tools and HR management tools.
The company’s goal is to provide end-to-end back office services and while there are other providers, such as UKG Pro and Ceridian HCM, Workday’s broad offering helps them to stand out. Though it faced a tough global market in 2023 and has shed some of its headcount, Workday has seen a 6.5% gain in value in the first quarter of 2024. It is now focusing on growth and developing the AI capabilities of its platform. .
