Who you are

- 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, ideally supporting C-level executives in fast-paced environments (startups, finance, or consulting preferred)

- Highly proficient with Google Workspace, travel booking platforms, and expense management tools
What the job involves
- We're looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to support our C-suite
- This is not a traditional EA role—you'll be a true partner to leadership, anticipating needs, managing complex logistics, and ensuring executives can focus on the highest-leverage work
- You'll manage demanding calendars across multiple time zones, coordinate travel on short notice, prepare materials for board meetings and partner negotiations, and serve as a key point of contact between leadership and internal teams, external partners, and investors
- Manage extremely dynamic calendars, prioritizing ruthlessly and resolving conflicts before they become problems
- Coordinate domestic and international travel, often with same-day changes
- Prepare and organize materials for board meetings, partner presentations, and internal reviews
- Serve as a liaison between executives and stakeholders across the company
- Handle confidential information with discretion
- Anticipate needs and solve problems proactively—often before they're articulated
- Manage expense reporting and administrative workflows
- Support planning for team events and offsites
- The hours are intense. You'll need to be responsive evenings, weekends, and occasionally holidays. Plans can change with little notice. If predictability matters to you right now, this isn't the right fit
Our take
Cardless is a financial technology company attempting to modernise co-branded credit card programs. There are around 200 brands in the U.S. with traditional cards that haven't been modernised in over 20 years. These traditional cards, from the likes of Costco and Sam's, enable shoppers to collect reward points that they can use for things like travel.
Cardless’ co-founders are no strangers to the financial industry. Michael Spelfogel spent time at Visa, and Scott Kazmierowicz worked in banking for Goldman Sachs. Through their experiences, they spotted a gap in the market for simple, credit card loyalty programs that focus on customer experiences. For example, it helps popular consumer brands launch credit cards that can engage with their fans and reward them with bespoke benefits.
The global credit card market is valued at over $100 billion. It's certainly big enough for consumer brands to enter; however, with Cardless acting as a middleman, there's always a risk that it could get frozen out by the big banks. Nevertheless, it secured $60 million in Series C funding in 2025, which will be used to expand its products, partnerships and card programmes.
