Role
Who you are
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without requiring current or future visa sponsorship (for example, employment-based visas such as H-1B, F-1/OPT, or similar), and must be authorized to begin work in the U.S. on their first day of employment
- 2-3 years of experience in outbound SaaS prospecting roles with proven track record of success (Fintech or financial services experience a plus!)
- Knowledge of private banking, wealth management prospecting a plus
- Strong work ethic, energetic, proactive, team player!
- Excellent problem solving, communication, organization and time management skills
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to new demands; strong sense of urgency
- Assertiveness, directness, and a “company first” mentality
- Experience working with Salesforce, Gong, and Salesloft is a plus
What the job involves
- Addepar is looking for a high-energy, results-driven Business Development Representative to join our Business Development & Sales organization
- Working very closely with Sales and key partners, BDRs are tasked with strategically developing and qualifying revenue opportunities within assigned account territories and segments
- This is an exciting opportunity to generate and hunt for new business opportunities to fuel our growth across the wealth management, family office, private banking, and global investment management market segments
- The ideal candidate will be passionate about finance and disruptive technology; have sound eye for business and natural sales instincts; and be an eager, highly motivated, and tenacious self-starter

- A successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions
- The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York
- Generate new business opportunities to fuel Addepar’s growth
- Create and prioritize strategic target account lists and account attack plans within a defined territory
- Research and build new accounts (i.e. strategic calling, sending personalized emails, and connecting through social media platforms)
- Conduct high level discovery conversations and meetings with prospect accounts
- Collaborate with Go To Market teams (i.e. marketing, sales, and product, etc) to advance new business growth
- Achieve quarterly quotas of qualified opportunities created

The platform aggregates portfolio, market, and client data in one place, allowing financial professionals to analyse and visualise the data they need.
Addepar currently tracks around $6 trillion of assets serving over 800 clients, including individual advisers, family offices, and large institutions such as AllianceBernstein, Bartlett Wealth Management, and Morgan Stanley.
The multi-unicorn company has been pursuing global expansion, opening its first office outside of the United States in Scotland in 2021 and a new London office in late 2022. It appointed new leadership members from companies like Oracle and Amazon Web Services. A Series G investment in 2025 will further accelerate its momentum as it continues to innovate its suite of solutions.
