Desirable

• This position is remote in Denver, CO. We intend to open an office in Denver and once we do, we will require hybrid attendance onsite at least 9 days each month
• The Cash Reconciliation and Control Specialist is responsible for facilitating daily banking activity, reconciliation, and all processes associated with IRS tax reporting, including federal and state tax withholding payments, filings, and reconciliation
• Forge is looking for an individual with a passion for building and maintaining repeatable processes while being extremely detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality
• The ideal candidate would have a fundamental understanding of retirement plans and tax processing with a strong desire to continue to learn and grow as an expert in this area, while also supporting other cash-management related functions
• Track and facilitate federal and state tax withholding payments per applicable schedule
• Complete tax filings timely and accurately based on the state requirements
• Research and monitor suitable federal and state tax regulations to maintain compliance
• Perform daily tax bank account activities and reconciliation
• Support other team members through training and answering questions
• Maintain thorough procedural documentation and identify procedural gaps/risks and suggest controls to mitigate losses and error
• Provide support for fee payment reconciliation and invoice processing
• Processing and reconciliation of publicly traded stocks and mutual fund trades and accurately applying investor dividends
• Assist in other functions as assigned
