What the job involves
- Our Talent team is committed to ensuring brightwheel has the team in place to enable a high-quality early education for every child
- We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to join our growing Talent team and lead full-cycle recruitment across a variety of business roles
- You will be a trusted thought partner to leaders across brightwheel, diving deep to understand business needs and developing tailored recruitment strategies to fill critical roles
- Lead development and execution of full-cycle recruitment strategies for a variety of business roles
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand hiring needs, develop recruitment strategies, and create feedback loops to refine your approach
- Build strong, diverse pipelines by engaging passive talent and finding creative ways to engage high potential candidates and unlock referrals
- Create and run an efficient, equitable, and thoughtful process that enables brightwheel’s growth while maintaining a high bar for talent
- Conduct interviews, score exercises, and complete reference checks, as appropriate
- Use data to to build and refine recruitment strategies, evaluate pipeline strength, monitor key performance metrics, and stay in sync with hiring managers
- Communicate effectively to keep key stakeholders engaged, facilitate hiring decisions that raise the bar on talent, and persuade top talent to join the brightwheel team
- Create a best-in-class candidate experience that focuses on inclusive recruitment and hiring practices
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve recruiting systems, processes, and approaches, and lead the implementation of solutions
Our take
Childcare and teaching is a profession fraught with pressures and paperwork and yet it remains relatively ill attended to by advances in tech and software. Brightwheel want to revolutionize this, focusing on facilitating the administrative and communicative relationship between schools, carers and parents or guardians.
As tech enters the classrooms there are various apps focusing on the education itself with fewer actually handling the communications for schools. Brightwheel's platform helps increase parental and teacher engagement with students everyday, while helping small education businesses save money, time, and to grow.
Brightwheel is carving out a name for itself as a service valuable for its exciting and useful new updates. It was quick to adapt to school closures too by offering distance learning capabilities and health testing. And on top of this, it also caters to childcare in lower-income areas with a freemium model. Making its a go-to platform for early education.
