What the job involves

  • Luminovo is gearing up for Series A funding, and after winning 200+ customers worldwide, we are further expanding our Sales team
  • As a Sales Executive, you will own the full sales cycle: from generating your own pipeline and qualifying (inbound) leads to bringing deals over the finish line
  • Our product: Luminovo is the first all-in-one supply chain platform built specifically for the electronics industry
  • Whether it's an OEM designing or procuring electronics in-house or an EMS, with a procurement and sales team – our platform helps them control their complete electronics supply chain
  • 🇪🇺 Your territory: You'll join our sales team in Europe and mainly cover the German-speaking market – in addition to some other English-speaking territories
  • Whom you’ll be working with:
  • Patrick, our Head of Sales, who also performs as a Sales Executive himself
  • Sebastian, one of our founders, who leads the Revenue department
  • Max, who is leads our Revenue Operations team and is in charge of our CRM (Hubspot), supporting you with dashboards, sequences, forecasts, and more
  • Mark, our Head of Marketing, to align on positioning/messaging and drive strategic growth initiatives
  • Our Customer Success and Product Team to fully understand our product roadmap, potential constraints, and share product-related customer feedback
  • Build a strong network. Navigate the electronics industry in the US and connect with the most relevant electronics manufactures (EMS), electronics designers (OEM), and partners for us. Attend sales fairs and establish a strong local positioning for Luminovo with support from our marketing team
  • Generate interest. Use a mix of calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreaches to grab a prospect's attention and keep a high pace. Make use of sales enablement material as well as prospecting tools to drive efficiency
  • Qualify. Run customer-centric discovery meetings to quickly uncover the situation and pain the customer is facing. Clarify how our solutions can create an impact on the customer and how large the value is
  • Inspire. Run inspiring product demonstrations that are catered to the customer's pain and the impact they want to achieve. Know and clarify our positioning in the competitive landscape
  • Prove value. Hold workshops and product deep dives with the help of domain experts to prove that our solution can create value. Support with ROI calculation to underpin the business impact
  • Close. Guide the prospect through the buyer journey, turn negotiations into win-win trades, and close the paperwork. Ensure a smooth handover of the customer’s individual case to customer success to ensure that the impact will be delivered
  • Provide insights on the industry. Seek the wisdom of our product experts for answers and generate new insights for our product teams to keep on delivering on the customer's needs
  • Build expertise in B2B SaaS. Improve your knowledge of the idiosyncrasies of SaaS sales in a technical industry, and make the SPICED framework your guiding principle

  • Hiring Manager Interview
  • The interview will be a chance for you to meet the hiring manager for this role – usually your future manager at Luminovo
  • During this conversation, the hiring manager will learn more about you as a person, including your motivation, goals, and aspirations. Additionally, they will assess your ability to fulfill the performance objectives coming with this role
  • You will also have the opportunity to learn more about your prospective manager, including their management style and expectations, and gain an even deeper understanding of your future role at Luminovo
  • Challenge interview
  • This interview will last around 60–90 minutes, during which we'll go into detail about a role-specific hiring challenge you prepared
  • This will also be an opportunity for you to show your skills in action and meet even more members of the team
  • Peer interview
  • The interview will be a chance for you to get to know the peers you will be working with. During this conversation, the peers will learn more about you as a person and teammate
  • Likewise, you will also have the opportunity to learn more about your day-to-day work and what a day looks like for you in this role
  • Founder's Interview
  • For your final interview, you'll have the chance to speak with one of our founders
  • This is your opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the company, its guiding principles, and the position you're applying for

Our take

Processes for electronic manufacturing services and original equipment manufacturers have not yet caught up with the pace of technological innovation experienced in other technological fields. Luminovo believes that the speed of progress can be catalysed with its electronic operating system.

Luminovo products allow manufacturers to cut down the time and money required to take ideas through to business-ready electronic products. Among its services is LumiQuote, empowering electronic manufacturing services to gain fully transparent quotes.

Luminovo aims to continue its expansion by focusing on growing into a deep-tech company with strong roots throughout Europe. Having received funding in 2020 and 2021 and by preparing a public launch of its RfQ product, Luminovo is on the way to realising this mission.
