- Over 6 months as a BDR/SDR in the technology industry OR 1+ year of full sales cycle closing experience in another industry
- Demonstrable ability to prospect into Mid-Market/Enterprise level accounts using a variety of tactics including phone calls, personalized emails and a suite of sales tools
- Excellent time management skills
- Superb written and spoken communication skills
- A keen sense of organization and autonomy
- Worked in a team environment
- Experience with our current tech stack (Hubspot, Google Suite, slack)
What the job involves
- As a crucial contributor to the sales team, your primary day-to-day responsibility will be to generate sales pipeline by delivering qualified discovery meetings for the Enterprise Sales Directors (ESD)
- You will work closely with ESDs to target prospect accounts with the intent of finding/assessing fit and generating excitement / interest across prospects in pursuit of sales discovery conversations
- You will be expected to conduct account / contact research, manage a territory of accounts, conduct qualification, generate interest among prospects and broker introductions between ESD and prospective clients
- Not only will this role give you a crash course in Curri’s product offering, but will also give you the opportunity to master the suite of tools in Curri’s tech stack
- Those who demonstrate excellence in the role will also be offered opportunities for internal promotion to Account Executive and other roles within the organization
- Serve as the first point of contact for prospective Curri customers across a range of industries -- from small businesses to some of the largest organizations in the world
- Work in close partnership with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to deliver a world-class customer experience for prospective customers
- Execute an Account-Based go-to-market motion where you will strategically work high-value accounts while balancing coverage through higher volume activity (e.g >70 outbound calls and 50 targeted emails or Linkedin messages)
- Develop a strong knowledge of Curri’s suite of products and a unique POV on logistics
- Participate in ongoing professional development and advance professionally within Curri!
Our take
Curri is a construction materials provider that develops a last-mile delivery app that connects supply stores to customers. It decreases downtime on construction projects by enabling construction companies to have quicker access to materials.
The Y Combinator-backed logistics startup company delivers construction supplies and materials with an “Uber-like” last-mile delivery model. App users arrange an order, open the Curri app, and enter pickup and drop-off locations to book the service. It offers live updates via the app to let customers follow and share the status of their deliveries. It also provides proof-of-delivery signatures and photos for tracking, regulatory, and compliance purposes.
As businesses in the construction industry are usually dependent on reliable delivery services, Curri faces an uphill battle convincing customers that their gig-model business structure is consistently reliable. But with significant funding and ongoing developments to its infrastructure and sales and marketing initiatives, the company is set to challenge the market.
