What the job involves
- Our team of Business Development Representatives are responsible for supporting the growth of BrainStation’s digital skills training courses in-person in New York and online, globally
- Advise, inspire and motivate professionals to elevate their careers in technology
- Drive growth through revenue generating activities including but not limited to outbound calls, emails, and video conferencing with prospective customers
- Build community by leveraging BrainStation’s world-class thought leadership, kick-start your career, and intro day workshops and events
- Leverage cutting edge revenue driving platforms like MixMax, Gong, and more, to learn, apply and execute best practices
- Work collaboratively with our product, learning design and experience teams to iterate on and curate bespoke digital learning products
- Invest in understanding and creating long-lasting relationships with industry partners, organizations, and other community leaders pursuing digital skills training for their members
Our take
BrainStation provides digital skills learning programs through online, instructor-led training experiences, which the company calls Online Live. Online Live is powered by its own proprietary online student platform, which lets learners attend live classes from the comfort of their homes, receive feedback, and collaborate with fellow learners in real time, helping them to develop a truly global network of like-minded professionals.
The company has physical offices and campuses in New York, London, Toronto, and Vancouver to deliver premium in-person training. The company works with instructors from innovative companies including Google, Meta, IBM, Amazon, and Nike. BrainStation has trained over 100,000 professionals and some of the largest corporations in the world across core disciplines such as data, design, web development, product, and marketing.
Its history of student success, and the fact that entire industries have been forced to create and optimize new digital platforms and channels, have driven the platform’s increasing popularity and success. Its hands-on, project-based learning model has proved extremely successful in preparing individuals for new career paths, with over 90% of graduates finding work within 180 days of graduation.
Due to the company's success, BrainStation has significantly expanded its international European and New York operations. With the expansion, BrainStation intends to train more than 5,000 professionals across New York every year.
