Senior Accountant, Runway

• You have exceptional attention to detail and enjoy finding ways to optimize processes. You take a hands-on approach and are curious about how accounting reveals the story of the business

• 1+ year of public accounting experience at a top 8 accounting firm or 2+ years of accounting experience at a high growth software or technology company
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and general ledger accounting principles
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
• Highly motivated to expand knowledge and adapt to new challenges
• A passion for solving problems and simplifying complexity

• We’re looking for a dynamic Senior Accountant to drive accurate accounting and financial reporting
• You'll support key areas across General Ledger (GL) accounting, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and contributing to overall accounting operations
• Support month-end close processes including reconciling bank accounts, credit card transactions, booking journal entries and reconciling key balance sheet accounts
• Process vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding and approvals focused on accuracy and timely payments
• Prepare and issue customer invoices, verifying accuracy and compliance with contract terms
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and support collection efforts
• Assist with payment processing, including ACH, wire transfers, and checks
• Maintain organized records of transactions and documentation for audits
• Identify process improvements and assist in implementing best practices
