Role
Who you are
- Up to 5 years work experience as an Accountant with exposure to several European entities
- Strong attention to details and good analytical skills
- Experience in being responsible comprehensively for accounting of one or more small or mid size entities
- Experience in filing VAT monthly advance tax returns
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (experience with Oracle Netsuite is a plus)
- Good MS Excel skills
- Excellent English skills, German is a plus
What the job involves
- In this role, you will handle transactions, bank payments, monthly and annual closings, and collaborate closely with local tax advisors and payroll teams
- Join our dynamic Finance team and be a driving force in enabling rapid and sustainable growth while ensuring financial health, make an immediate impact and thrive in an interdisciplinary environment where learning is constant
- Managing all accounting transactions for foreign subsidiaries of Workmotion Group based in Europe
- Managing timely bank payments
- Handling monthly and annual closings
- Cooperating closely with local tax advisors to process tax payments and returns
- Cooperating closely with local payroll provider/ payroll team to process the salary payments

The travel restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in many workers being forced to work from home, and this led to many people realising that they could work remotely from anywhere in the world. WorkMotion develops bespoke SaaS platforms for the management of international hiring, onboarding, human resource management, and compliance across over 160 countries. This prevents businesses from having to set up foreign offices and workforces to handle international HR challenges, making global expansion more affordable and less time-consuming.
The challenges of managing international HR compliance have been brought to light due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and naturally, this means that WorkMotion faces competition from other companies tackling the same problems. However, the company currently stands out due to its bespoke handling of each client scenario, realizing that no single set of tools is sufficient for every company.
