Role
Who you are
- Experience in program/project management or customer success
- Ability to coordinate multiple people and internal/external teams on complex, cross functional projects
- Excellent communication skills and ability to organize information for stakeholders at various levels and technical competency
- Some experience in or exposure to EV charging or utilities is a plus
- Good knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Jira, and other project management software
- Independence and resourcefulness; you will be able to navigate complexity to ensure timely and quality delivery
- Operations focused, with the ability and experience to develop and improve processes as we scale
- A positive, can-do, tenacious attitude - you’ll be willing to work hard and continuously adapt to a rapidly-growing industry
- Excellent organizational abilities, able to manage multiple programs at a time and prioritize appropriately
- Attention to detail - you will notice if something doesn’t look quite right and dig into the data to either resolve or suggest improvements that can be made
What the job involves
- Join us as we build and scale the world's largest electric vehicle Virtual Power Plant (VPP), with over 50 EV programs running with utilities around the world today
- You’ll be leading the delivery and execution of some of the largest and most innovative EV managed charging programs across North America, reporting to our Director of Program Management
- You'll be working closely with our utility partners to scope, execute, and grow residential EV charging programs that help EV drivers save money, deliver tangible grid and network benefits, and increase EV ownership equity of access
- The role involves working closely with engineering, product and design teams as we build and test various program designs allowing drivers to enroll, as well as working with our customer support team to resolve issues and ensure EV drivers are delighted with our product offering
- Translating signed commercial contracts into concrete project management plans so that our utility clients and team can scope out key workstreams, identify interdependencies and ensure deliverables are ready on time and to budget
- Leading kick-off processes with utility counterparts, identifying focal points for key pieces of work and bringing internal teams and external clients together to agree a plan of action
- Day to day management of commercial projects, collaborating with our engineers, designers and marketers, and coordinating with engineering to investigate issues as they arise
- Cleansing, structuring and analyzing EV charging data to drive insights for the business and our utility clients using web-based BI tools
- Collaborating with marketing and customer support teams (internally and within utility companies) to ensure program growth through continued customer enrollment
- Proactively managing utility accounts, serving as the day-to-day focal point for commercial projects and working to expand programs, reporting results and ensuring clients love working with us every step of the way

Properly managing electric vehicle charging is critical to a low carbon future. With a growing numbers of EV rolling out over the world, ev.energy is tackling the unique set of pain points that exists for EV users.
The company has created an easy-to-use app to support users with each EV charging session. The app optimises and schedules charging times relative to grid demand, helping EV owners avoid peak tariffs, save money, prevent over-congestion on the grid and use the greenest electricity possible.
Strategic moves, such as a recent partnership struck with Easee that will combine ev.energy's software with Easee's domestic chargers, are an example of how the company is continually working to provide an optimised experience for users while maximising the use of renewable energy.
