Who you are
- Extensive experience in graphic design, UI/UX, motion graphics, and video production
- Expert-level proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Figma, and other tools
- Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining comprehensive design systems
- Exceptional portfolio demonstrating versatile design capabilities and visual storytelling
- Excellent typography, color theory, and composition skills
- Strong collaborative skills and clear communication abilities

What the job involves
- Wintermute is looking for a versatile, highly-skilled Senior Designer who appreciates our brand and has impeccable taste
- You'll work directly with the Head of Marketing and closely collaborate with the entire marketing team while also engaging cross-functionally, particularly with the product team
- This role involves taking full ownership of all design projects, from evolving and expanding our recently refreshed brand identity, upgrading the new design system by developing distinctive graphical and illustrative styles, and driving forward our design vision
- Your responsibilities will span strategic initiatives as well as day-to-day tasks, including UI, UX, social media assets, website design, and motion
- Lead the evolution and expansion of Wintermute's refreshed brand identity
- Upgrade and refine our design system, establishing distinctive graphical and illustration styles
- Conceptualize and execute UI/UX design for digital products, ensuring smooth user experiences
- Create impactful visual assets for social media, marketing campaigns, and communications
- Oversee website design, ensuring consistent brand representation and optimal functionality
- Develop engaging motion graphics, animations, and videos to elevate brand storytelling
- Collaborate cross-functionally, particularly with marketing and product teams, to align design efforts with business objectives
- Balance strategic design initiatives with efficient management of daily design tasks
- Clearly articulate and present design decisions and concepts to stakeholders, incorporating feedback effectively

Recent developments in mobile applications and financial tech have resulted in increased demand for digital assets such as cryptocurrencies, and this growing demand is putting pressure on traditional market makers. Ultimately, the increased scale and complexity of the new digital asset landscape has exposed inefficiencies in existing liquidity providers.
Wintermute uses an algorithmic approach to provide market-making services that facilitate digital asset liquidity with long-term scaling and efficiency in mind. The company currently provides its market-making services to over 50 centralized and decentralized trading platforms, including Binance, Coinbase, and Kraken.
