Who you are

Strong experience designing and implementing API solutions in large enterprise environments
Deep knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIPs)
Hands-on experience with AWS services (particularly for scalable, resilient architectures)
Practical experience deploying and managing workloads on Kubernetes clusters
Solid understanding and use of Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC)
Ideally, strong working experience with Kong Enterprise API Gateway and related products (e.g., Kong Manager, Dev Portal, Vitals)
Proven capability to design for high availability, resiliency, autoscaling, and cost optimisation
Able to architect and advise on secure, reliable file transfer solutions in compliance-heavy environments
Ability to create professional-grade Solution Design Documents, whitepapers, and technical blueprints
Skilled at producing artefacts that are both technically sound and accessible to non-technical stakeholders
Experience working alongside internal architect teams and external consultancies
Ability to perform a structured handover of architecture work, with full documentation and walkthroughs
Confidence to challenge and defend solutions in multi-architect environments
