What the job involves
- The Senior Vice President – Digital Signage is the executive responsible for defining strategy, driving cross-functional alignment, and ensuring profitable growth for Poppulo in the Digital Signage market segment
- Success in this role requires understanding customers, market and competition, defining vision, setting priorities, building GTM programs and influencing the wider Poppulo team to drive execution
- The position reports to the Poppulo CMO and is an extended member of the Poppulo Executive Leadership Team
- Join us in shaping the future of digital signage technology and making a meaningful impact on the way businesses communicate and engage with their audiences worldwide
- Lead global strategy for digital signage business
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities and risks, informing strategic decision-making
- Define target market, ideal customer profile and buyer personas
- Define our digital signage positioning and messaging
- Define and drive our thought leadership strategy to evangelize our point of view across customer segments, verticals, and personas
- Partner with Product to develop the strategic roadmap for our digital signage business unit, aligning with company objectives and market trends
- Partner with customers, Product and Technology to drive innovation which ensures our digital signage solutions remain at the forefront of technology and meet the evolving needs of our clients
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales and marketing to create demand and maximize market penetration and revenue generation
- Collaborate with Customer Success to build strategies to retain and grow existing clients
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with key industry stakeholders, including technology partners, industry associations, and customers, to expand our market reach and influence
- Partner with sales to develop and execute a channel strategy that drives incremental revenue
- Partner with corporate development to drive M&A aligned to growth strategy
- Partner with Finance to drive the reporting necessary to monitor profitable growth
Our take
Poppulo delivers the world’s first communications experience platform, Poppulo Harmony, that unites multiple communications channels in one content creation and publishing experience. Through the Harmony platform, businesses can improve both internal and external communications, improving employee engagement and the customer experience.
Poppulo was first launched as an email marketing solution, but it underwent a dramatic rebranding in order to focus on internal communications. This move proved successful, with the company going on to serve thousands of businesses including Santander, Rolls-Royce and ASOS. And in 2021, a merger with Four Winds saw Poppulo valued at around $1B, establishing it as a major player in the communications market.
It was in 2022 that Poppulo released the Harmony platform, adding customer communication capabilities to its employee engagement toolkit, and becoming a one-stop-shop for all its clients' communication needs. Since then, the company has focused on international expansion and strenghthening its leadership team, while contunuing to invest in AI. Most recently, Poppulo became the first digital signage provider to achieve ISO 42001 certification for Responsible AI, reinforcing its position as a trusted, enterprise-ready platform as AI becomes increasingly central to workplace communications.
