4+ years of experience developing full stack web applications professionally

What the job involves

As a Software Engineer II on the Verifications team, you will be working with other Verifications engineers, Product Managers, Product Teams, Machine Learning teams and other stakeholders to continually enhance customer experience through automation and while minimizing losses due to fraud
You will be a key contributor to the Verifications platform and helping product teams scale
Build Verifications Platform through distributed services
Minimize fraud losses to Upstart through better data and ML models
Automate approvals for borrowers
Improve UI experience for operations teams and applicants
Assist in building models that predict excess credit risk
