People Business Partner, Autodesk

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of HR experience, including experience partnering with business leaders
• Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines including organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, performance management, employee engagement, compensation, talent management, employee relations, and change management
• Demonstrated experience using data and insights to inform people strategies and business decisions
• Experience supporting leaders in a complex, global, and matrixed environment
• Strong consultative, influencing, and coaching skills
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal)
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Adaptable, nimble, and able to guide leaders through ambiguity and organizational transitions
• Combines business acumen, people intuition, and analytics to drive impact
• Builds authentic partnerships across leaders, PBPs, COEs, and peers

• We are seeking a strategic, adaptable People Business Partner to support our Corporate Functions organization, with a primary focus on Finance. This role partners closely with Finance leaders to enable business performance through thoughtful people strategy, organizational effectiveness, and leadership support
• As a trusted advisor, you will help translate business priorities into impactful people initiatives across organizational design, workforce planning, leadership effectiveness, and employee experience. You will operate within a highly collaborative People & Places model and flex across priority initiatives aligned to critical business objectives
• This role reports to the Director, People Business Partner, Finance, and is a hybrid position, based out of Toronto, Vancouver, or Montreal
• Partner with leaders to develop and execute people strategies that align with business objectives and drive measurable outcomes
• Support organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategies to enable business performance and scalability
• Leverage qualitative and quantitative data to assess talent needs, identify risks, and inform decision-making
• Lead or contribute to surge work and cross-functional initiatives aligned to critical business priorities
• Provide consultative partnership and coaching to leaders on performance, development, team effectiveness, and change management
• Support talent reviews, succession planning, and pipeline forecasting aligned with function strategy
• Guide leaders through performance and career processes to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and future capability needs
• Challenge constructively and offer alternative perspectives to elevate decision-making and organizational impact
