Who you are

We are looking for a passionate Senior Business Development Manager to work for a profitable start-up, and if you want to gain in-depth knowledge of high-performance tech and the real estate industry, this is the opportunity for you!
Experience working as a Senior BDM
Experience in the following industries : Real Estate, Land, Planning or Property Technology
Proven ability to deliver live product demonstrations, both virtually and in person
Strong experience using CRM software such as HubSpot
Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Confident presenting to varied stakeholders and adapting messaging based on the audience

What the job involves

Reporting to : Senior Sales Director
Reach out to potential customers in the real estate, construction, property, and land industries via phone/video calls
Run 30-minute demos of the Searchland platform
Advise customers on how to best leverage the platform for their business needs
Collect, organise and report back on feedback on a weekly basis including identifying dissatisfied users or product improvements
Liaise with wider team and founders to upskill your role
Freedom to implement your own sales process (within our best practice customer journey guideline)
Identify where the self-service sales can be improved
Represent Searchland by attending networking events
There will be occasional travel across the UK to provide in-person demos to represent Searchland

Our take

SearchLand’s platform allows property developers to source off market sites by linking disparate data such as ownership information, planning records, local policy restraints, and prices, then contact landowners directly.

While there are a few platforms with this depth of information available, SearchLand is banking on its searchability to set it apart, letting users search only for plots that meet their criteria if they wish.

Launched in 2021, SearchLand’s emergence comes at a time when the property market is under increasing pressure to become more tech and data driven, and investment in Proptech skyrocketing. Indeed, SearchLand has recently secured funding itself in a bid to drive sales of its nascent platform.
