Who you are
- 5+ years in social media marketing with direct experience in Web3
- Proven track record building and scaling social media accounts (X, LinkedIn & YouTube) with measurable impact
- Ability to turn complex technical concepts into accessible, compelling content for different audiences
- Experience managing and/or mentoring team members, fostering a collaborative environment that drives team success
- Highly organised with a excellent project management skills; thrives in a fast-paced, decentralised environment
- Strong understanding of the key KOLs and industry players within the blockchain ecos
What the job involves
- Offchain Labs is looking for a Head of Social to lead our organic strategy across platforms and elevate the brands within our suite of products, including Offchain Labs, Arbitrum, ZeroDev, Prysm, and Onchain Labs
- This role requires a sophisticated blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and executional excellence
- Balancing the fast-moving dynamics of the blockchain industry with the rigor of professional brand stewardship
- You will play a key role in maintaining consistency across the Arbitrum brand and our growing product ecosystem
- We are looking for a leader who cares deeply about reinforcing the core truth behind each product, while bringing creativity and personality to how our story is told publicly
- By collaborating closely with leadership, product marketing, and ecosystem partners, you will refine our messaging to ensure it remains clear, credible, and consistent across all products and channels
- Ensure all social content reinforces Arbitrum's core narrative. You will act as a brand partner—not a service desk—guiding internal teams toward stronger storytelling and more effective channel use
- Translate complex technical developments into clear, credible narratives, pushing colleagues to articulate the who and why behind every announcement
- Partner across the organisation to shape how launches, partnerships, and research are communicated, ensuring a consistent voice across the product ecosystem
- Develop and execute cross-platform growth plans for X, LinkedIn, and YouTube, balancing business-focused content with broader industry and cultural storytelling
- Own the social content calendar and internal operations, editing and publishing high-stakes content that strengthens brand credibility
- Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline publishing workflows, scaling high-quality content while maintaining elite editorial standards
- Direct internal teams and agencies to produce high-fidelity assets, including video, motion graphics, and technical visuals
- Stay embedded in the "meta", identifying the thought leaders and trends that matter across B2B LinkedIn and industry-focused X
- Lead and mentor a team of community managers to ensure 24/7 coverage and aligned messaging across all global regions
- Listen closely to the community and ecosystem participants, providing direct feedback to cross-functional teams to ensure our messaging remains relevant
Our take
The Ethereum blockchain has seen a surge in activity over the past year or so - but, much to users' frustration, its transaction volume has failed to scale accordingly, leading to hefty gas fees and slow transaction times. Offchain Labs is one of a few players developing Layer 2 rollup solutions, and its Arbitrum rollup has gathered substantial momentum and support in a relatively short time.
Offchain Labs’ Arbitrum claims to offer all the benefits of a rollup - less costly, more efficient - without compromising on security. It is, at the time of writing, the only scaling solution for Ethereum that has working fraud proofs, and at the end of 2021 was dominating the layer 2 rollup market share.
This kind of high-profile and superior efficacy determines a successful blockchain technology. With Offchain Labs’ leadership pedigree and its string of acquisitions, it’s no surprise the company is leading rollup innovation efforts. This sector, however, moves at lightning speed—and the competing ZK rollups are by no means out of the picture just yet.
