What the job involves
- We're seeking an experienced Email Marketer to join our dynamic team and elevate our email campaigns
- In this role, you'll work closely with our Campaign and Lifecycle Manager to optimize campaign performance, drive results, and push creative boundaries
- Campaign Execution: Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, including creating and managing email lists, designing email templates, and scheduling sends
- Content Creation: Work with members of the marketing team to Write compelling email copy that aligns with our brand voice and resonates with our target audience
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze campaign performance using key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates. Provide regular reports and insights to the team
- A/B Testing: Conduct A/B tests to optimize email content, subject lines, and send times to improve campaign effectiveness
- Segmentation: Segment email lists based on user behavior, demographics, and other relevant data to deliver targeted and personalized content
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, design, and sales teams to ensure campaigns are aligned with overall business objectives and brand guidelines
- Tool Proficiency: Utilize email marketing software (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to manage and track campaigns

With the likes of high-exposure company Grammarly accelerating adoption of such tools, a flurry of startups have appeared to offer their own takes. Writer’s angle is to leverage AI as a means of standardizing and scaling both content and communications for business teams. The tool offers autofilling and inline suggestions that keep content aligned with pre-determined company language and style guides.
This branded fine-tuning function distinguishes it from full copy-generation competitors, as well as from Grammarly itself, which is a more generalist copyediting tool. It subsequently caters to major enterprise clients looking to maintain standards across multiple and sprawling teams, and the company has managed to net major clients like Deloitte, Twitter, UiPath, and Accenture.
While AI-related buzz remains solidly around generative AIs like ChatGPT and Bard, Writer's narrow target market - in which it has already found success - supplies plenty of scope to grow, as AI copyediting tools look set to rapidly become content industry standard.
