Who you are

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required
- At least 3+ years of experience in Finance from a large public company preferred
- Previous experience in Big 4/public accounting a plus
- Knowledge of Finance/Accounting/GAAP principles and strong business acumen required
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools and implementation of forecasting software (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Oracle, SAP, or other ERP systems and Power BI)
- Strong interpersonal skills required to work alongside individual business units and effectively communicate business results to various audiences
- Must be flexible with hours to accommodate workload fluctuations
What the job involves
- The senior financial analyst will be a key member of the Latin America finance team who will take ownership of various responsibilities related to the division’s forecasting and budgeting process
- The SFA will take on various responsibilities related to the division’s forecasting and budgeting process and collaborate closely with the Finance Manager to consolidate and analyze monthly forecasts while providing strategic analysis across various business segments
- The SFA will work on the implementation of business intelligence tools, leading the way to automated financial reporting and advanced metrics analysis. In addition, they will be an integral part of the onboarding of new entities to be compliant with Live Nation policies and procedures
- Build and maintain financial models used for both reporting requirements and strategic analysis, with a focus on the rollout of OneStream
- Analyze and interpret monthly and quarterly financial results, assisting Finance Manager with financial presentations
- Build out and implement executive dashboards utilizing business intelligence tools (including OneStream dashboards) to provide key stakeholders with KPI’s & insights, with drill-down capabilities as needed
- Work alongside divisional accounting team to ensure compliance with company & regulatory policies, data integrity, accuracy of variance explanations and adjustments, and alignment on deliverables related to forecasts
- Provide timely, accurate, and meaningful financial analysis of variances between actuals and forecast, budget, and prior year
- Perform departmental audits of key processes across business lines, while documenting evidence of reviews and key issues affecting the business
- Assist with due diligence of new JV partners/business units by participating in walkthroughs of new processes, identifying opportunities for seamless data integration, and understanding key drivers for new businesses
- Ad-hoc requests as required depending on business needs, including financial information for CFO presentations

Live Nation is the world's leading live entertainment company, sitting at the top of the market in live events and ticketing. Formed in 2009, it is a major international company, with key business segments made up of concerts, ticketing, and sponsorship and advertising.
Despite its dominant position in the market, the company saw an 84% drop in revenue during 2020 and the closure of live events. Since then, however, demand has been stronger than ever for their ticket sales. This is a reflection that live events remain a clear priority for consumers and has been further reflected in Live Nation's acquisitions of companies - like Goodlive - that complement and bolster Live Nation's portfolio.
In addition to live events, a key area to watch for Live Nation will be the rise of online concert streaming, like that undertaken by competitors such as Driift. Major festivals such as Glastonbury have trialled online concerts with mixed reviews. If it proves successful, this could be a major new section of the entertainment market and a big potential part of Live Nation's future ventures.
